Consular Working Group of Chinese Embassy in Canada Travels to Nova Scotia for On-site Services

A consular working group led by Counselor Hou Jin of the Chinese Embassy in Canada travelled to Halifax of Nova Scotia to deal with applications for passport and notarization from overseas Chinese and Chinese students from October 27th to 28th, receiving acclamation. With the assistance of local overseas Chinese groups, such as the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association Atlantic Section and Chinese student volunteers, the working group provided services for about 200 overseas Chinese who made preparations according to the requirements early released by the Embassy and brought their families together to the site.

During their stay, the working group also attended the opening ceremony of the 10th ACPPA  ViewPoint Realty Cup Team Competition Tournament held by the Atlantic Canada Ping Pong Association, discussed with representatives of overseas Chinese communities, and held a lecture on consular protection for overseas Chinese students.
